The main benefit of VitaDesktop over using Internet Explorer or Firefox is that it uses much less memory, and also offers quick access to Vitalist via the Windows System tray.

But VitaDesktop seems to have some issues with minimizing and restoring. If I uncheck the "hide on minimize" (default is on), it keeps restoring the display to full screen. Dont want that. Just want it to say the size I made it in the location I left it. eg: dont muck with it. If left on, it does stranger things like restoring to full screen at strange times, flashing the screen as it comes to the forground and stuff. You can test it if you’d like:

2) Browse actively for 15-30 minutes
3) Check the Task Manager again and see the updated RAM usage for Firefox.

The RAM usage will continue to increase as long as you’re browsing; and it’s the same for Internet Explorer.

This was a big issue for me, since I tend to leave my browser window open for long periods of time; which is why I took the additional time to ensure that memory usage is at a minimum for VitaDesktop.
